EXAM POLICY:
EXAM DATES AND NOTES:
Exam #1: Thursday, September 23, 1999 during the usual class time. This exam will cover the lecture and homework material through Section 1.5 (Logic, Propositional Equivalences, Predicates and Quantifiers, Sets, and Set Operations). Exam #2: Thursday, October 21, during the usual class time. This exam will concentrate on the lecture and homework material covered since the last exam. This will be Sections 1.5 through 2.3 (to and including prime numbers). An understanding of supporting material covered previously may also be needed. Exam questions will be weighted toward those topics covered in the lectures but will also include the topics covered in the assigned problems. Exam #3: Thursday, November 11, during the usual class time. This exam will concentrate on the lecture and homework material covered since the last exam. This will be Sections 2.3 through 2.6 (to and including boolean matrices). An understanding of supporting material covered previously may also be needed. Exam questions will be weighted toward those topics covered in the lectures but will also include the topics covered in the assigned problems.
