The exam will be open book and open notes. Be prepared to do essay questions
and draw block diagrams of receivers with specific signal processing functions.

We did not cover Chapter 1 because this is material that is covered
in previous communication courses. You need to bring a text to the exam
that covers basic communication systems so you will have a background reference
if you need it.
